Yes, it’s been away for a while but here we are, back on air so to speak, bringing you all the high and occasional lowlights from the world of YouTube. With a new writer and fresh vision for the future of the site.

I’m DaveP, your new YouTube guru and fount of all video goodness and knowledge. I’ve been on the 451 Press network for 4 months now, with my Pop Buzz UK blog, and as that’s going so well, I needed to take over another domain to further my ends for world domination Mwahahaha.

The mission statement for this blog from now on is “To showcase the best and worst of YouTube every day”. This will include Virals, adverts and memes, Clips of Celebs, AMVs, Music videos, Accidents, TV Clips and shows, Funnies, Film clips and reviews, Stand up comedy routines, Experiments, and of course the best amateur efforts.

I’ll also be asking for feedback, not only on the videos shown, but also if you see something I may have missed that deserves a big audience. I’m always open to suggestions, and ways of improving the site. Despite being called YouTube Digger, I’ll also hope to include vids that may only be available elsewhere such as Metacafe, Google Video and College Humor.

YouTube and the new wave of video sites are an incredible resource, and the aim of this blog is to mine it to within an inch of it’s life. The whole world is now watching so why not indeed ‘Broadcast Yourself’ Tm.

So sit back, and watch, and expect to laugh, cry, dance and grimace your way through this blog with me. Enjoy the ride!
