Win a World Trip

by

Want to travel the world and experience some of the most original nightlife on the planet?

And have someone else pick up the bill?

Smirnoff is offering the opportunity of a lifetime: ten people will spend a year traveling the world searching for the best original nightlife.

You will travel and live together for a full twelve months as part of The Smirnoff Ten. You’ll get to attend all four of this year’s Smirnoff Experience events, starting in Moscow in September and continuing in Shanghai, Paris and New York. You’ll also visit the world’s most exciting cities, events, parties, festivals, bars and clubs across Asia, Europe, South Africa, Australia and both North and South America.

What kind of people are they looking for?

As a member of The Smirnoff Ten you’ll make and star in short films documenting your travels, the people you meet and the original nightlife you discover. You’ll also write articles and take pictures for publications and websites around the world. So we’re looking for people who:
- know about nightlife (mixology, music, gigs, clubs, DJs, blagging)
- are good in front of a camera
- can make great films / write well about their experiences/ take amazing photos etc.

They are specifically looking for people who can speak good English and are from one of the following countries: Canada, Great Britain, Japan, South Africa, or USA. If you have filmmaking experience and editing skills that will give you an advantage, but not everyone in the Ten needs them, so you’re still in with a chance if your skills are more as a writer or photographer.

How do you enter?

STEP 1: Visit http://www.smirnoff.com, click on the Smirnoff Experience button and you’ll get more info and the full application details.

STEP 2: Make a short film. This should be a film about you and about the original nightlife where you live. It should demonstrate why you have the credentials to be one of The Smirnoff Ten reporting on the best original nightlife around the world. Your film should be no more than 2 minutes in length. When you’re ready, return here to upload your video to this contest page and make a note of the URL of your audition video. If you’re not already registered with YouTube, you’ll have to do that first in order to upload your video.

STEP 3: Go back to http://www.smirnoff.com and complete the application form in full it includes a space for your YouTube user name and the URL for your application video — this enables them to link your video to all the details you’ve entered on the application form.

They’ll then shortlist the entries, and get in touch with successful applicants about the next step. You will have to be available to start the adventure in September of this year.

Smirnoff wants you to remember the experience - so please always drink responsibly.
