With songs like “The Internet is for Porn” and “Everyone is a Little Racist”, you can see why this unconventional musical made it big.

By mixing two things not often mixed - puppets and adult humor - you get Avenue Q, the musical that deals with real things like unemployment, racism, and sex in music form.

With puppets.

Ah, but this isn’t your traditional puppet show either. Not only do you get to see the actors playing the puppets, giving them an un-puppet-like mobility, they act right alongside “the humans”.

You’ve heard “the Internet is for Porn” on this site with the World of Warfare video. Now see where the actual song came from with this video of Avenue Q performing “Sucks to be Me”.
