Microsoft Surface Teaser & Spoof Parody
Microsoft Surface: Codename Milan. Hmmm, it sounds like the start of a Bond movie. It is in fact the new hardware/software combo which is supposedly going to aid Microsoft’s push to take over the world. It won’t be long before you see this table PC slab in hotels and restaurants… maybe. Let’s watch the official teaser advert for it.
Some parts of it look ok, although the presentation isn’t helped by the fact they’ve chosen some twatty looking people to demonstrate. You have a J-Lo wannabe, then an army guy with non-movable hair who seems to press about 50 buttons to tell him which street he’s in. But I think this spoof describes the action better than I can, and the seeming pointlessness of most of the features.
It says it like it is, and we like that. Who in their right mind is going to buy one of these things at $10,000? The only man who can afford such blatant luxuries for unnecessary gadgets is Bill Gates himself, and well, he’ll probably get one free.
