Fast Food Funnies
Today’s theme is about one of the world’s sickest obsessions – fast food. We have become a lazy society who lives on whatever we can muster from the drive thru window on the way to or from work and the folks at Mad TV know that. In their signature style they go after the fast food lifestyle and poke fun of all of our favorite guilty and cheap pleasures leaving no fry lamp unturned.
MadTV is known for their hilarious looks at regular life and pop culture, and this first example reminds me of so many experiences I’ve personally had that it took me a few minutes to stop laughing long enough to copy the code.
With all the giant sized and super sized meals, MadTV comes to the rescue again with their own idea, this time it is their take on McDonald’s with the new Fat Ass meals:
Proving that no fast food restaurant chain is safe from their spoofs, MadTV once again goes on the offensive, this time targeting none other than the pizza mega mall, Pizza Hut and their “rip and dip� pizza and breadstick combos:
Even the slowest of the fast food joints can find themselves in the Mad TV cross hairs from time to time, as evidenced by this great spoof of an Olive Garden commercial:
Fast food might not be healthy, but it is fast, cheap and there is no doubt it can be funny! Big thanks to the folks at Mad TV for keeping it real and telling it like it is!
