Every Single Famicom Game Title Screen
This is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen on YouTube. It’s simple, to the point, but must have taken absolutely ages to painstakingly compile.
This 5 minute video shows a fraction of a second of each and every Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System) game title screen ever released. We start with 1983’s classic Donkey Kong, which went on to spawn such a selection of games, right through to 1994’s Adventure Island IV. Yes, believe it or not Nintendo’s first foray in to home consoles had games produced for it fo 11 long years, which is quite some going. All in all, there are 1252 game screens in there, some good, some bad, and some downright bizarre.
The thing I noticed most was how the majority of the screens are just black backgrounds, with small, non-flashy text. Compare that to these days of xbox 360, Ps3, and Wii, which all have amazingly long, convoluted start movies before revealing an all singing, all dancing start screen.
Ah, the good old days… hmmm, give me a Ps3 any day ;)

That brings back some gaming memories. Some games I’ve never heard of. I may have to look up a few.
