Cheaters Online
Unhappy in your marriage? Then check out AshleyMadison.com.
When I first saw this television clip, I couldn’t quite believe it. I thought it was a joke. But as the interview went on, they were completely serious. I even checked out the website, and it truly is a “Romantic Rendezvous [site] for Attached Adults”.
What I find extremely ironic is the woman who is being interviewed was married and met a guy who was married.
They’re both cheaters.
And yet she calmly states her faith in the relationship. Even though they’re both cheaters.
Am I the only one not getting this? I feel like I should be saying “AshleyMadison.com - Making adultery easy.”
Maybe when you see this video, you’ll think “cool” or “humanity has no morals”. Either way, I’m still stunned. I shouldn’t be, given the internet has everything else out there to tempt you, tease you, and pleasure you as much as you want. Still, this amazes me.
I’d love to hear from anyone who has used this, will use this, or would consider using this. Tell me why or even why not if you’re against it.

Poor woman is deluding herself.
I’m not surprised it exists. Most dating sites are filled with people who are cheating. At least on that one you know what you’re getting into.
I also feel sorry for anyone named Ashley Madison looking for a domain name for a blog. They’re in for a big surprise. *L*

Ha! Good point. I looked for my name as a domain name. I’m now thankful it was a tame site.
And yes, I think she likely is deluding herself, at least a little bit. An adultery site isn’t the place to look for a husband.

I really wanted to stop listening when she said, “I was looking for someone trustworthy,” so she went to a site of married men. Huh??

Major case of “I want my cake and to eat it too”.
Why are people spending energy in creating a new relationship when they should be working on the current one. I could never do that to Mike, no matter how horrible our relationship became.

While I was doing the psychic hotline gig, before I was fired for telling people the truth, I got many phone calls from women who just couldn’t figure out why their relationship with their married boyfriends weren’t working out. This is funny. You just don’t need a psychic to tell you why. Unfortunately, many of these women were calling just to perpetuate the fantasy of their “love relationship”, something they can’t share with with the other people in their lives. How sad.

Winnie - Exactly. There were so many points I wanted to just interrupt her and ask, “You realize what you’re saying, right?”
Catherine - I could never do that to my husband, either. It’s just…wrong.
Beth - That is a bit sad. Eesh.
