This is a pretty amazing video of what a hard drive looks like while it’s doing those every day tasks we force it to do. A quick format is shockingly quick, I must say while copy and paste seems to take an absolute age! Watching this, it’s no wonder they go wrong so easily or often, as even with the technology involved, it’s still just a needle going across a disk. (more…)
