This isn’t quite as amusing as 1,000 ways to open your beer, but it’s still pretty interesting.

Turns out yes, water can burn, and all you need to make it do so are matches, two batteries, and a glass of water. *gasp* To be honest, it doesn’t look all that impressive on the video (until he lights the paper with his burning water), but it is pretty cool science.

In this strange yet entrancing video, we observe a dragonfly rising up in the early dawn hours to meet…a human woman.

This video mixes animation and real life dancing in a way that is not at all obvious (beyond what obviousness you are already going to have mixing the two) and doesn’t take away from the video.

I love any form of animation, from Anime to Disney, but I love these amateur stop motion style ones on YouTube more than any. They are hidden gems which you suddenly find and watch in awe of the skill. This is a particulary good one because of it’s use of the hand and pen to manipulate the animation.

I’ve never been a fan of interspecies sex. Wow, what a statement that is, but let me explain. There are a species of animal called ligers, basically the offspring of a lion mating with a tiger. I don’t know if this occurs naturally in the wild, or if scientists get the lion to take the tiger out on a series of dates, then after a romantic film at the cinema, they both get drunk, one thing leads to another and hey presto, we have a liger. But I digress, watch this clip from YouTube and see for yourselves…

This is amazing. I don’t even think I could turn a Rubik’s cube with one hand, let alone solve it in 20 seconds. In fact, thinking back, I don’t even think I ever solved one of these mind numbingly difficult puzzles, either as a kid or an adult.

I was always going to love this video on YouTube wasn’t I, seeing as I’m a big fan of the best zom-rom-com ever Shaun Of The Dead. Well if only Simon Pegg and the others who made that had known how to get the zombies looking like zombies for just $2.00, they could have saved themselves a fortune!

For some reason this works, and makes me laugh, but it shouldn’t, it’s only a guy catching some glasses on his face after all. A part of me still thinks this is faked, that there’s some sort of camera trickery going on, but why would you?! It’s probably cheaper and easier to just keep trying to do it until that one take when he does actually get them on his face, and put the 10 times where he had his eye gouged out, or knocked a tooth out, down to experience, and in the edit bin.

I’ve posted this on YouTube Digger mainly because this guy is such an idiot. He’s trying to demonstrate how to rip a phonebook in half, but only rips downwards, and not across the spine… THAT’S NOT RIPPING A PHONEBOOK IN HALF PROPERLY YOU MORON!

This is one of those meme phenomenons on YouTube at the moment, where one posted video then gets replied to by loads of others, usually improving on the original. So first off we have cutiemish playing the music from Tetris on harder on the piano…

It was ok, although there were alot of mistakes and… okay, I’ll come clean, the only reason I’ve even dugg her is because she is foxy! I mean she lives up to her name, she’s gorgeous, Asian, and has the most beautiful posh English accent I’ve ever heard. Wow. (more…)
