After seeing Ricky Gervais’ skit on Comic Relief last week I was encouraged to search for some older clips of the great man and here is the classic! This dance came from Series 2, Episode 5 of the original British version of The Office and see David Brent (Gervais smarmy character) trying to impress his colleagues and co-workers by dancing for charity. Woah, I thought there were some bad roads and accident hotspots over here in the UK but obviously nothing compared to this stretch of road through the Lefortovo tunnel in Moscow, Russia. These accidents that have now been circulated and crop up everywhere including YouTube, were captured from monitoring cameras. They make for some pretty interesting but scary moments as cars, trucks and buses all wend their way through the tunnel, and some don’t quite make it out in one piece. (more…)

Being British, Football or Soccer is in my blood, so that explains why I look for clips on the sport on YouTube. What it doesn’t explain is the recnet outbreak of violence that is seemingly creeping on to the pitch! Last week we had, and I posted footage of the Inter Milan and Valencia players going toe to toe with each other at the end of a match. This time it’s the turn of a bitter and idiotic Tottenham supporter to run on to the pitch and try to attack Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard at the end of the FA Cup quarter final replay on Monday. This one includes Catherine Tate and Tony Blair aswell as the Top Gear presenters trying their hands at performing in a band. On Friday night of last week, The UK had it’s traditional Comic Relief fundraising event. This is a way to raise money for needy people, especially in Africa, by making people laugh and bringing comedy in to what is essentially a sad and miserable situation. For those of you who saw it, here are some clips you may want to relive and laugh at again. We all like a good Lightsaber fight every now and again and this is one of the best ever. Showing the Jedi fighting Darth Sidious (played by Ian McDiarmid) towards the end of the third prequel ‘Revenge Of The Sith’, I enjoyed rewatching one of the best bits of the film again. (more…)

On March 3rd of this year 2007, there was a full lunar eclipse visible from the UK, and Northern Europe. This video shows the process of the moon being first covered and then revealed into full sunlight again. It was pretty spectacular and this guy has done a very good job of taking the video footage and editing it down to a short 3 minute YouTube clip. The whole thing started at about 10:30pm and went on until about 3am the next morning. (more…)

Woah there, this is some strong stuff. This is footage of the fight that took place after a recent Internazionale Vs Valencia soccer game. On Wednesday night the two teams met in the Champions league match in Mestalla with the result being a goaless draw. This meant Valencia went through to the quarter finals, unfortunately the lack of action during the match was totally overturned at the final whistle. The footage comes from Sky Sports and you can hear pundits including Andy Gray giving their opinion. (more…)

This is a clip I had recommended to me and I sat there watching it in disbelief. It looks like (and I mean that in the loosest sense) a Japanese game show where supposed lookalikes go up against each other, and the most convincing goes through as a winner. (more…)

I love this clip of a rabbit going after a snake, and the 4 legged fiend wins aswell! The video is made a whole lot better by the fact the guy recording it is laughing his sweet head off which just makes you want to laugh too. If I was a betting man, I’d have said the snake would easily come out on top but instead after an initial fight back, he whimpers out and legs it (metaphorically speaking) up a tree. Well done Bugs Bunny, your owners owe you one.

This is a bizarre yet fascinating short clip of what does indeed seem like chicken police?! It’s a good insight into what animals do when even another species is involved in a fracas, although to me it seemed that the rabbits just wanted to mate! In which case maybe the chickens are just your average censors who saw the video camera recording and didn’t want us humans to get an eyeful of a bit of animal lovin’!
