Pulp Muppets

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

This is such a simple idea, but it turns out to be a brilliant video. It’s a mash up between the Tarantino classic ‘Pulp Fiction’ and the muppets, and it makes for a very funny watch.

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

Will over at Automotive Blogger posted a great article revealing what are the 5 best movie car chases of all time in his opinion. He showed clips of them all from YouTube, and I enjoyed the post so much, I thought I’d share it with my readers/viewers too.

The Gayest Weatherman Ever!

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

Maybe the title would be more accurate as “The Campest Weatherman Ever” or “The Most Scared Of Cockroaches Weatherman Ever”, but it still works.

Scrubs With Colin Hay Singing Overkill

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

The first time I saw this episode of Scrubs and Colin Hay came on singing ‘Overkill’, it made me laugh, sing along, and fall in love with Scrubs all at the same time. It really is that good. There’s something about the guy’s voice, the lyrics to the song, and J.D’s reaction to him which all make it an excellent scene.

Gillian McKeith - You Are What You Eat

Friday, April 20th, 2007

I was recently reading my friend Neelima’s blog about healthy eating and she posed the question “Who is your diet guru?” I answered that it was Dr (maybe) Gillian McKeith, who is a British health nutritionist who has her own programme in the UK called “You are what you eat”. So Neelima did a great post detailing the rules and regimes Dr McKeith uses, and extolling the virtues of those methods. So, I was drawn to look on the trusty YouTube for some nice clips of the show, which includes a segment wher she studies the fat person’s crap to see how their diet is affecting them. Unfortunately there are no clips! Except for a good couple of spoofs which I thought I’d bring you today.

Top Gear Winter Olympics Car Ice Hockey

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

I just can’t get enough of Top Gear, and I’m not even a big car guy. Just seeing the interaction between Richard Hammond, James May and the least politically correct man in the world Jeremy Clarkson is enough to make it essential viewing.

What Happens If You Drive Behind A 747?

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

The answer is of course… Very bad things, so dont do it, or even try it at home… if that was even possible, as I don’t think the airport staff would be very happy now would they. This is an experiment conducted by Richard Hammond, yes he of the huge crash and walking away with not much wrong with him (after a 2 month stay in hospital) fame.

World Of Warcraft GM Power

Thursday, April 5th, 2007

I really enjoyed watching this clip, even though I’m not a big player of MMO Games such as World Of Warcraft. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to be, but can’t afford the monthly fees, and fear getting soooo addicted I would never get anything else done! This YouTube video shows the power of GMs in the game World Of Warcraft. GMs are Game Masters, who are Blizzard employees given free reign in the game to help out players, and keep an eye on proceedings.

Dirt - Courteney And Jennifer Kiss

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

Oh mama, it’s finally happened, that embrace and sexual awakening that I, Joey and many, many millions of men and women around the world wanted to see. Yes, Jennifer Anniston and Courteney Cox Arquette have kissed! A massive cheer goes up from the crowd, and then something else goes up, in men’s pants everywhere.

Billed by the original poster on the YouTube site as “The secret 8:1 audio mix from the DHARMA archives“, this is an episode of Lost where obviously the poor diet got to the islanders rather badly.
