I love Barney Frank. No, I don’t want to sleep with him — I just wish he’d move from Massachusetts to the greater Philadelphia area. Why? He’s a Representative in Congress, the Chair of the Finance Services Committee, an excellent debater and is not afraid of asking questions that make people squirm. That’s a rare gem in Washington. I hope he runs for President someday, but then he wouldn’t get to be on television so much.
If you don’t live in America and have no idea what the politics is like, so you have no idea what I’m talking about, I apologize. Go have a cookie.

One of the scariest persons on cable news is Bill O’Reilly, even though he’s considered a commentator and not a journalist. His idiocy is occassionally entertaining but I would not like to ever meet this guy in a dark alley unless I was toting an elephant gun. However, Barney Frank faces him and doesn’t blink:
In comparison to other governing bodies in the world, the Congress is really mellow and actually quite boring. Except when Barney Frank tells Rebublican time-wasters to shut up. That gavel banging makes a nice beat. I can dance to it:
This is a segment that aired last night on “Hardball with Chris Matthews” that, thank God, someone stuck up on YouTube. I love how when the Republican talks, Barney’s quietly cleaning his nails. Although it wasn’t in this clip, Chris Matthews apologized on the air to the Republican for saying “Democrat party” instead of “Democratic Party”.
