Alanis Morissette - My Humps Spoof Cover

I’ve seen this video in a few places and needed to post it here on YouTube Digger. It’s Alanis Morissette with her cover of the Black Eyed Peas song ‘My Humps’. I was never a fan of the original but it was a big song and the video was everywhere at the time, it seemed every day when I switched MTV on, there it was. So I appreciate Alanis’ cover of it, even though I still don’t like the song, the video is excellent…

It shows Ms Morissette has a sense of humour, which I was starting to doubt. I’ve been a fan of hers in my time, owning both her first two albums, but since then, she’s been a bit off my radar. Why she chose this song to cover right now, I haven’t a clue but it’s a good effort none the less. And just so my loyal readers/viewers have an option to compare this with the original, here is that cheesy R’n'B abomination in full…

    I enjoyed the spoof, too. Though I get laughs out of the original, as well. :)

    It is probably her comment on how empty headed the orginal is. It’s pretty much all that’s wrong with music now days.
