5 Reasons Why I Love Blogging!

by Dave Parrack

Last week, I didn’t just get my first meme, oh no, I got my first 2 meme tags sent to me! I’ve posted one on Pop Buzz UK today, and here is the second on YouTube Digger. The idea with this one is to share 5 reasons I love to blog with my readers so here goes…

1. I love the intensity. It doesn’t really happen with this particular blog but it does over at Pop Buzz UK often. You see a news story break, or a TV programme ends, and you ned to get your post about it on the web asap. It’s an adrenaline rush.

2. Blogging means instant feedback. I’ve written articles before where you hand them to a client and that’s it, job done. You don’t get any feedback good or bad. With blogging, someone usually has something to say about what you’ve written and that’s a great feeling.

3. I’ve spent years online just peeing about, not getting anything done. Blogging gives me the chance to do something worthwhile with the medium, and that’s a big step up.

4. The friends I’ve made through blogging are incredible. Not only are they many and varied, they are from all around the world. You also meet a high proportion of fellow writers while blogging, and they are usually fantastic people.

5. Blogging is the new rock ‘n’ roll, everyone is doing it. I feel like I’m a part of something alot bigger than just me, with a huge worldwide community all working together to bring news, gossip and fun to the masses.

Interesting huh? Uh no… anyway the 2nd job I have to do is tag people from some of my favorite blogs:

KD at Celebrity Weasel
Jaime at Fiction Scribe
Gillian at Food History
Leslie at Apple Grrl
Keith at Pop Culture Buzz

Now go read their blogs, you fools!
